Photo of the Week

This weeks photo features the town of Sibiu, a lovely medieval village in central Romania. There is a large Saxton/German influence in the town, and it is just a joy to walk through.
Although there is not a lot to DO here, Sibiu is a great place to hang out and soak up the atmosphere. The entire town was restored in 2006-2007, returning it to its former splendor.
Enjoying an ice cream or a glass of wine and watching life go by was just dreamy here. We were fortunate enough to arrive on the last day of a free concert series in the main square. The final concert, featured Aria's from famous Operas. Finding seats at a little outdoor cafe on the opposite side of the square, we sipped wine and listened to the dreamy melodies of the beautiful music.
My favorite part of the town was waking up early and walking alone, taking photographs while the light was nice. I have included several photos, so just click through to see more!
