Hello! And Welcome, New Readers!

Hello from Goreme, Turkey, in the heart of Cappadocia. If you have been following along on Facebook, you might notice that the last couple of weeks have been a whirlwind of awesome activity. Turkey is absolutely amazing, and we are having a wonderful time exploring this unique and oft overlooked country.

But enough about me, and my adventures for now. The last several weeks have shown quite a few new members signing up for the site, and I would like to say welcome, and thanks for reading!

So, what's it all about? Well, what has started out as a simple travel blog, is slowly turning into much more. Quitting my job after 11 years in the corporate world, and taking off to explore the world has become a much more profound experience than even I had thought it would be.

As my 6 month "on the road" anniversary approaches this month, its been fun to start dong some re-organization of the website, adding more value and free information to readers that will hopefully help to inspire you to start taking steps for your own adventure! Along the way, I hope you will be entertained by my personal stories and antics as I traverse the globe.

So what's next? Well, that is a great question. I plan to add much more content that will not only entertain, but inform as well. Your comments and questions certainly do help, as I mold the site into something readers can utilize as a resource. I really enjoy hearing feedback from readers, so please, do let me know what YOU would like to see more of! in addition, if you know someone who might find the information I provide interesting or helpful, feel free to pass on my contact information or web address.

Well, thanks again for signing up and joining me on my journey around the world! More blog posts, photos, and articles coming soon!

Jen - you've done such a great job keeping up with blogging. I'm definitely going to refer to this next time I go to SE Asia and Turkey.
